
Located in the heart of Heritage Maitland's Cultural Precinct, the Repertory Playhouse was a Congregational Church before being converted to its current use as a theatre by Maitland Repertory Society in 1963. The playhouse is located opposite Maitland Town Hall and the Maitland Regional Art Gallery on the corner of James St and High St.

It's an exciting time to become a part of our society, with building expansion plans for additional rehearsal space starting to come to fruition.
There are at least five multi-week shows a year, so there is always something different to look forward to at the Playhouse. Performances range from our traditional Christmas melodrama to Junior Repertory shows and everything between. Treat yourself to some live action entertainment away from the television!
